AS WE CELEBRATE THE DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION, MAY WE BE REMINDED OF SOME OF THE LESSONS WE CAN APPROPRIATE OR APPLY INTO OUR LIVES AND RELATIONSHIPS.
Today, I am reminded that Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice of love to redeem man from sin. This tells me that, love must be accompanied by some form of sacrifice.
What sacrifices have you made towards your children, friends, family, or spouse to prove that you love them? Do you just sit there and proclaim love to your husband or wife without taking concrete steps to prove it?
Love is an action word, and one of the action steps required is sacrifice. You cannot treat them wrongly or without compassion and claim to love them. Make a decision today; make sacrifices for those you profess love and your relationship will become better for it.
